Materials chosen for the real world
The heating element sits inside a quartz envelope filled with halogen gas. That halogen helps protect the filament, which keeps output stable and slows down the blackening that can happen over time. Quartz also handles thermal shock well, so rapid on/off cycles don’t wreck consistency. The lamp uses an R7s base—a bi-pin connector that locks in clean alignment and carries current without fuss. It’s a simple, proven design that installers already know. And if a lamp ever burns out, you can swap it in quickly. We engineered it as a drop-in replacement for common R7s-based heaters, so downtime stays short.
