We built these waterproof infrared table heaters for one reason: to bring direct, localized warmth to wet spaces—like bathrooms—without the drama. It’s about more than just comfort. It’s about getting a handle on humidity and keeping surfaces dry enough that mold struggles to get a foothold.
Power, Voltage, and the Physical Specs
Here’s the thing: we packed a lot of heat into a small footprint. Most setups run at 400V and 2500W, which means a powerful burst of infrared from a compact body—often around 300mm long. That gives you a serious watt-per-inch ratio, so you can heat a specific zone fast, without trying to warm the entire room. But, and this is important, packing that much power into a small space means the surrounding enclosure and nearby parts will feel the heat. So plan your spacing and cooling ahead of time. Otherwise, you risk cooking sensitive components and shortening the heater’s lifespan.
What It’s Made Of: Quartz, Halogen, Coating, and Connectors
We chose a quartz tube because it handles sudden temperature changes with ease and delivers shortwave and medium-wave infrared efficiently. Inside, halogen gas keeps the filament stable, so the heat output stays consistent over time. An internal reflective coating directs the energy straight ahead, where you need it. Less heat bleeds off to the sides. And since we’re talking bathrooms, we paired the tube with an IP-rated waterproof housing and seals that stand up to steam and splashes. On the electrical side, we use R7s and SK15 connectors. They create a clean, solid connection, which cuts down on resistance at the joint, lowers hot spots, and makes wiring a breeze—perfect for a simple drop-in replacement.
