A Smarter Way to Heat

The Real-World Trade-offs
Here’s the thing: these directional lamps let you crank up the wattage without melting your housing. It’s a win. But nothing lasts forever. High-temp cycling can eventually wear down that reflective coating. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen. I’d suggest checking your thermal profiles every few thousand hours. You just want to make sure the beam hasn’t dimmed or shifted over time.
Making it Work on the Floor
Getting these into a vacuum environment takes a little bit of finesse. You’ve got to be picky about your connectors—make sure they’re rated for your voltage—and double-check that the lamp fits the brackets without any tension. You don’t want things pulling or straining. The best part? You can run your process at much higher temperatures while the outer chassis stays cool to the touch. That means you can ditch those massive, clunky water-cooling jackets on the walls. You save money on the cooling gear, and more importantly, the guys on the floor aren’t dodging hot surfaces all day.
